Current Graduate Assistant Position Openings

This page is devoted to posting any currently available Graduate Assistant positions within the University.  Any department wishing to post a Graduate Assistant position opening should send a position description electronically to Linda Wallace in the Graduate School at UDgradschool@udayton.edu. The position description should include an explanation of duties, preferred qualifications, the number of tuition remission hours, stipend, academic term of the assistantship, and contact information. The following is a listing of GA positions that are currently available, along with a position description:

Graduate Assistant for the Office of the President – The President’s Office would like to hire a graduate assistant for the University's Institution Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives. The Graduate Assistant (GA) position will have a variety of responsibilities relating to the campus-wide Institutional Inclusion and Diversity initiatives. Specifically, the graduate assistant will be responsible for managing the University’s Diversity Grants program, the President's Diversity Lecture Series, and other projects in the President’s Office. The graduate assistantship is a nine-month position (late August-early June) with a minimum of twenty (20) office hours per week. In addition there are some evening commitments as well. Benefits include insurance, tuition remission, and a stipend of $7000.  Preference will be given to those applicants in the Higher Education Administration and College Student Personnel programs.
